Hey, I’m Guillermo — the photographer behind GEM Studio.
What started as a simple opportunity to photograph a friend’s wedding during the pandemic quickly turned into something much bigger. Since then, photography has become more than just taking pictures for me — it’s become a way to preserve emotions, relationships, and moments that deserve to be remembered honestly.
My style blends candid storytelling with an editorial touch. I love creating images that feel natural, emotional, and timeless while still carrying an elevated, artistic feel. Whether it’s a wedding day, an engagement session, or a quiet family moment, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel real to you years from now.
Based in Connecticut, I serve couples, families, and individuals who value genuine connection and meaningful imagery. I believe the best photos usually happen in between the poses — in the laughter, the movement, the emotion, and the little moments people don’t always notice in real time.
